The Wall Street Journal is looking for a video journalist to strategically deploy global video coverage across its homepage, articles and apps, while also regularly pitching and producing pieces about key WSJ news coverage areas. You will be part of an award-winning team that’s constantly exploring ways to bring challenging stories to life and stand out in a fast-paced news cycle. In this role, the top candidate will be able to compartmentalize the job into two main responsibilities. First, you will execute solid news judgment in order to strategically embed videos across the Journal’s platforms. Second, you will produce and collaborate with fellow video journalists on news and feature videos. Both platforms and editorial duties are aimed to enrich and innovate the global video team’s daily news coverage and audience engagement. Please note that this isn’t an entry-level position nor will you be producing documentaries. You will need to demonstrate the ability to effectively organize and multitask in order to carry out both responsibilities in a timely fashion.
