Interesting in writing about how state politics and government really work? The Washington Observer, which covers politics, government, and the influence thereof in Washington State, is looking for a reporter to help expand our coverage of health care and education. This is a six-month position beginning Dec. 1. and focusing on the 2024 session of the Washington Legislature. The ideal candidate will have experience covering legislative politics and subject expertise in education or health care. The Observer prides itself on a clever, unorthodox voice, and we're looking for a writer who can take topics that normally make readers doze off and make them sing. Interested?
