The Washington Post is seeking an Economics editor to lead one of our most important coverage areas.

The Post’s economics team covers Washington’s battles over the budget, spending, taxes and deficits. It is responsible for tracking the many dimensions of America’s newly confrontational approach to trade. It covers how the government – from the White House and Congress to the Federal Reserve – makes decisions that affect the livelihoods of workers and the bottom lines of companies.
