Features Editorial Aide

The Washington Post's Features department is looking for a full-time editorial aide to join our dynamic team of more than 100 journalists. This is a detail-oriented position that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask. This aide will work closely with editors, critics and reporters on the Fine Arts and Pop Culture teams who cover theater, visual arts, dance, classical music, pop music, television and film. Duties include photo research, online and print story production, day-to-day administrative tasks, and distributing news tips to editors and reporters. The position includes opportunities to experiment with digital presentation, gain experience in project management and write occasionally. The ideal candidate will have a passion for journalism and be a self-starter who takes direction well. Interest in and experience within the broad area of culture is appreciated. Punctuality and reliability are essential.
