The Washington Post is seeking a reporter for its Innovations vertical who can write about the ways new technologies shape society. The job requires a curious mind that sees story ideas everywhere and a comfort level with multi-tasking. While developing in-depth enterprise, this person should be prepared to write two stories a week for the Post’s Innovations vertical, embracing a variety of storytelling techniques, including profiles, Q&As, quick features and posts off the news. Being well-sourced among cutting-edge thinkers and centers of innovation would be a plus.

The position is based in our Washington newsroom and is not eligible for remote work.
