Our desk handles copy across all Post platforms. In addition to editing stories, newsletters and alerts, responsibilities include crafting digital headlines and summaries, writing photo captions, and proofing interactive graphics and other digital projects.
This position will be based in Seoul and will involve daytime hours and some weekend work.
Candidates should have at least five years of copy-editing experience at a mid-to-large-market English-language news organization. A copy-editing test will be required. This position will be staffed through our local entity in South Korea, subject to local legal requirements.
Interested candidates should upload a cover letter, résumé and three examples of your work (as PDFs) to our jobs portal. All application materials can be uploaded to the same field. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the job is filled, but those received by Jan. 31 will be prioritized. The cover letter should be addressed to Multiplatform Editing Chief Courtney Rukan and Deputy Multiplatform Editing Chiefs Brian Cleveland and Nora Simon.
