Senior Producer, Audio

The Washington Post is looking for an experienced producer to lead the operations of a morning audio product that embodies the conversational style and brevity of The 7, our daily news briefing. The person in this role will work closely with the team of journalists serving up The Post’s popular rundown of the day’s most interesting and important stories, transforming it into an engaging audio experience. The senior producer will manage all aspects of show production, have a hands-on approach to assist members of the team and ensure that the briefing is published on all platforms, on a quick daily turnaround. The ideal candidate will have an ambition to expand this role to include working on related audio projects, product development and audio articles. This hire is part of The Post’s efforts to better serve the next generation of Post readers and subscribers.
