Are you an experienced writer with a passion for everything gaming? TheGamer.com is looking for a Tech Writer to boost our coverage as part of the affiliates initiative, covering content such as Buyer’s Guides, Reviews, and any other content directed at high purchase intent audiences relevant to the buying experience of gaming related products.

As a new initiative, the processes related to publishing commerce content will be fine-tuned over time and output gradually increased with your collaboration.

TheGamer team is constantly scouring the internet for the latest gaming news, sharing tips, tricks, opinions, tutorials, and guides, reviewing games, peripherals, and platforms, and keeping track of general industry happenings.

Job Responsibilities

Contribute a minimum of 25 articles per month
Overseeing the execution of commerce content
Helping scale this operation to become a large part of the business
Fielding affiliated content pitches
Ensuring deadlines are met
Working with our Editorial Team to advance the overall mission of TheGamer

Applicants must have a self-starter attitude and possess the following requirements

Relevant experience in editing (2+ years) in the English language
Expert knowledge of gaming products
Understand high-purchase intent content to focus on topics relevant to the purchase experience and SEO
Full-time availability
Must reside in the U.S. or Canada, or in countries within a few hours of the EST time zone
