Audience Editor

The Audience Editor will lead the Audience team by writing, editing and helping plan SEO-driven and consumer-focused content about major new releases, tentpole events and evergreen franchises. The ideal Audience Editor is an expert in SEO with a data-driven mind, and is capable of writing high volumes of content around major releases. The ideal candidate is also extremely collaborative with an eye towards mentorship, and is frequently pitching new and unique coverage ideas.

Responsibilities

Coverage planning for both short-term and evergreen subjects with pristine SEO
Ideating coverage plans for major tentpole releases in film and television
Editing, guiding and mentoring the audience team
Elevating TheWrap's consumer coverage while hitting specific traffic goals

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience writing about film, television and the entertainment landscape for professional outlets
Extremely high level of expertise in SEO, including adapting to evolving algorithms and finding new content strategies to drive traffic
Knowledge of content management systems and traffic dashboards
Expansive knowledge of entertainment, film and television
