The Accounting & Compliance Alert group of Thomson Reuters is a group of skilled professionals responsible for reporting accounting, financial reporting, and compliance news on a daily basis, for the most part on a same-day basis. This Accounting News Editor/Reporter position offers variety and never a dull moment, since you will get to read and analyze most of the accounting activity at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), at the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), and some of the activities at the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). You will follow the ins and outs of important standards and how they get developed and will report on the behind-the-scenes discussions that help shape new rules.
