We are seeking a talented, high-energy journalist to join our award-winning team to direct and manage a small global team of reporters focusing on interactions between climate change and labour rights. The correspondent in this role will have deep knowledge of climate change impacts and policies and a demonstrated ability to manage externally funded projects and guide coverage on one of the most crucial issues of the day, climate change. You will shape editorial direction of this new area of coverage, both writing and managing a team to produce a daily file of news, features and investigations as well as exclusive and unique long-form stories looking at how climate change and labour rights intersect. The ideal candidate must have excellent news judgment, superb editing and people skills, be deadline driven, a self-starter with lots of ideas, and able to break news on a competitive beat. Teamwork and collaboration skills are essential and a pre-requisite.
