The position - Lebanon Correspondent Are you interested in putting the plight of under-represented marginalized groups in Lebanon into the headlines? Would like to shine a spotlight on the challenges faced by those living in poverty or facing discrimination, including those impacted by the port blast? The Thomson Reuters Foundation is seeking an experienced, motivated journalist with excellent news judgment and strong writing skills to join our team and focus on the social divides, challenges and successes in Lebanon. You will be based in Beirut but will work with the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s award-winning global news team to produce unique stories that have impact and raise awareness for both local and international audiences about a raft of social issues. You will produce daily news as well as exclusive and unique long form stories from Lebanon. You will stay ahead of the curve on legal and policy changes that affect daily life and build a network with some of the most influential voices in this field.
