Senior Correspondent, Global News Monitoring

Reuters is looking for a Senior Correspondent to be help lead coverage as part of the Global News Monitoring team in Bangalore. The successful candidate must be good at multitasking and be able to write on a range of topics, including but not limited to: corporate earnings, central bank policy developments, U.S. Treasury news, credit rating changes, corporate litigation and political and general news stories. S/he should be skilled at using social media and adept at identifying, snapping and writing news while remaining calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will work closely with the EIC, and deputy in the Global News Monitoring team to ensure that Reuters remains competitive on the biggest breaking news stories around the world.
