This is one of the most demanding and exhilarating roles in Reuters: At a time of momentous change, you will write the Russian economic story for the world, explaining the big picture while ensuring Reuters provides the swiftest and most insightful coverage. You will be fluent in Russian and English, have superior writing skills on everything from snaps to deeper stories and manage the most talented team of economics reporters in Russia. Based in Moscow, you will be at ease covering the snaps of a Russian Central Bank rate decision or explaining the rouble market and yuan bonds to a distant audience while also driving a stream of deeper stories that tell the tension, drama and personalities of one of the most unique economies on earth. Essentially, you will write the first draft of Russia’s economic history for the world.
