Video Journalist

Reuters is looking for an energetic Video Journalist with strong news judgement to join our Visuals team in Beijing. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team, where Reuters video content is published directly to subscribers. The successful candidate should have strong English language and writing abilities, able to speak, read and write business Mandarin to a level where he or she can work independently in the field and communicate with Chinese clients and sources. You should have an experienced shooting background, both desk and field producing experience, able to edit, and have a strong personality to meet tough challenges in one of the world's news hotspots. Working closely with multi-media teams across Greater China, the successful candidate will need to be a proven self-starter with excellent communication skills, an unflappable temperament and a passion for news gathering and visual story telling. It is essential to have a global perspective to go with a strong knowledge of the Greater China story.
