We’re looking for a talented writer or editor with commercial and strategic instincts to supercharge one of our most exciting growth categories: sleep. You’ll be responsible for taking Tom’s Guide’s sleep content to the next level in our quest for helping people to get the perfect night’s sleep, uncovering the latest innovations and products to do that and creating articles that answer people’s questions on all matters sleep-related.

What you’ll be doing

As Features Editor, you'll be commissioning and writing the best sleep-related features, buying guides, how-to's and reviews; and by deploying top-class SEO strategies to get the right content in front of the right people at the right time. You'll work with the Sleep Editor to set priorities and story ideas, write high quality articles on important sleep- and mattress-themed topics and product-based topics and create and regularly update content, especially during key seasonal periods such as Black Friday, Amazon Prime Day and Boxing Day sales.

You'll organize and carry out effective, objective reviews of products, write everything from explainers to special reports and how to articles, attend key industry events, help to break news where relevant and establish strong industry contacts with leading companies to ensure we receive news and products for review.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

A keen interest and understanding of sleep products.
Exceptional writing and editing skills - from the ability to write snappy headlines to tight grammar control, through to the ability to choose just the right image to attract readers.
Ability to deliver content quickly and efficiently.
An interest in and understanding of analytical and SEO tools.
