In this position, you’ll be responsible for writing advice content that is aimed at helping everyday investors navigate today's financial markets and make better decisions for their long-term financial health. As an investing reporter, you'll write and update reported articles and slideshows that promote financial literacy and support an editorial point of view that promotes best practices for stable long-term investing. Investing topics may include 101-style educational content aimed at helping beginning investors build a portfolio, ways to incorporate news developments into people's investing decisions, and alternative asset classes beyond stocks and bonds that are worthy of consideration. You'll identify and interview expert sources to deepen your articles' insights and impact. As a multifaceted reporter, you’ll use analytics tools to help inform your story pitches and monitor the performance of our content and regularly contribute to our daily newsletter, Invested. You’ll also work closely with digital producers, SEO experts, and our social and PR teams to craft content that reaches the widest possible audience and brings impact to all readers. You also may have opportunities to be interviewed to speak on market trends, news and other investing topics on behalf of U.S. News for online, radio and TV appearances.
