The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, building regional/branch relationships and supporting the Member engagement strategy to meet national and regional goals. This position will use their knowledge of the financial industry and unique market needs to work closely with front line staff and support the Member experience through brand and product marketing efforts. Efforts may include internal and external communications, creation and/or oversight of marketing assets, competitive research and analysis, media oversight and lead generation programs. The Coordinator utilizes channels to communicate the unique selling proposition of the organization in order to drive and support loan, deposit, and service goals, as well as the three primary Membership objectives 1.) Acquisition, 2.) Deeper Share of Wallet, 3.) Retention. The channels utilized may be either on or offline: website, social media, emails, e-newsletters, newspaper, radio, outdoor, in-branch, events, publicity, SEM, video, etc. The Marketing Coordinator will need to understand United’s brand and verbal identity, value proposition, differentiators as a preferred credit union and flawlessly communicate this with a local, authentic feel within the markets. This position works closely and collaborates with PR, digital marketing, community impact, product marketing and multiple internal stakeholders and external vendors to launch integrated campaigns on-time and within budget.
