Working as a key member of the supportive Translations team, this role will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to produce and develop Auslan video content for a range of purposes including fee for service projects and organisational external communications.
About the Role
Working under the direction of the Creative Director, Translations Services you will be required to develop Auslan video content for internal and external clients.
You will utilise your video production and editing skills to ensure videos are produced at a high standard, including ensuring captioning and voice over where required.
If you have video editing experience, pride yourself on your time management skills, ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects we would love you to apply.
About You
In your application, let us know that you have these key skills and experience:
Knowledge, skills and ability to use a range of video editing platforms and systems (including but not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud programs – Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom and After Effects) suitable for operating translation services, including relevant multimedia platforms.
Ability to develop and implement effective translation services processes, tools and resources for application across multiple service areas and community initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with a wide range of stakeholders in implementing and coordinating translation services initiatives.
Sound communication skills and an ability to collate and present information and recommendations.
Fluency in Auslan and knowledge and understanding of the Deaf community, its language and culture.

Relevant business qualifications in video production or in Auslan.
Relevant experience in the use of Auslan for public presentation.
Knowledge of the Deaf and hard of hearing sector.
