We are looking for an experienced, Video Editor to add to our video team responsible for supporting business marketing initiatives for a Fortune 50 account. You will work closely with producers to develop high quality dynamic videos through all stages of production.

Our ideal candidate has a team player personality with a strong design background and ability to illustrate creative concepts.

The Video Editor role is a hybrid position with 3 working days/week onsite. The clients work onsite from a studio in Downtown Dallas consisting of a small fully equipped video recording studio, 3 post suites and an audio recording booth.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

Creative brainstorming will be key in developing new and unique videos to explain services and products.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and produce high quality work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, positive attitude & experience working with clients directly
This person will need to be receptive to learning the products and services to tell the story visually.

What you’ll do:

Video Editing – Adobe Premiere
Knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Color correct final videos
Audio mixing and sound design
Finish out versions for various social media platforms
Operate studio camera equipment and lights
Record in studio sessions with producer and other team members
Record remote sessions with producer and other team members
Ensure all deliverables follow brand standards and guidelines
As a member of the creative team, you will be tasked with visually explaining complex topics in a simple, easy to understand format.
Supporting video production projects such as:
Live video shoots
Stock footage + graphic projects
Full animation – 2D
Customer Testimonials
Product demo videos
Executive Interviews
Event-specific video content

What you should have:

Extremely proficient in Adobe Premiere with working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Experience with operating video cameras and setting up lights for video shoots
Interest and understanding of the high-technology industry and related terminology desired for B2B
Aptitude to quickly absorb client brand standards/strategy and apply assignments
Remain flexible through multiple revisions while maintaining keen attention to detail
Willingness to take and apply project feedback to execute against client direction appropriately
Ability to professionally convey thoughts and ideas directly to external clients
Applicants will be expected to share a portfolio reel and discuss their contribution to each project.
