Lead the Corporate Communications function in Canada to enhance Visa’s reputation and position Visa as a thought leader in the payments space. Develop and execute strategic external, internal, and client communications for Visa Canada, with a focus on driving proactive and reactive communications strategies and specific responsibility for executive visibility and issues management. This leader is a hands-on, senior communications professional with exceptional writing, reputational and project management capabilities. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience developing integrated and strategic communications programs that span public affairs, crisis and issues management, client communications, internal communications, media relations, executive visibility and digital and social media. This individual will report directly to the SVP, Global Corporate & North America Communications and manage one team member. The candidate will apply a diverse skillset and will manage and collaborate with other members of Visa’s Global Corporate Communications team to develop a strategy and execute a range of activities. This leader will also serve as a thought partner and strategic counselor to the Canada President & Country Manager, and Canadian Leadership Team (CLT) on a variety of internal, external and client issues.
