Freelance Writers

Attention Virginia journalists: I am looking to hire freelance writers for the Washington Business Journal's Richmond Inno vertical. The work involves writing stories as assigned (by me!) covering Central Virginia's tech and innovation scene. It'll be a fair amount of profile writing and Q&A's as well as chasing down news on startup funding and some press release rewrites.

Candidates should have some reporting experience and ideally be based somewhere in Central Virginia, preferably Richmond, Chesterfield or Henrico, with a little bit of wiggle room there. Candidates should be able to hit their deadlines and file clean copy.
