Breaking News Reporter

The Washington Examiner is hiring a Breaking News Reporter to add to its award-winning news team. This is a job for someone passionate about politics, policy and wider news in Washington D.C., America's heartland, and across the nation. The right candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, pitching and authoring several stories a day. Role will include covering politics at both the national and local levels, general assignment news, sport, media, entertainment and more. Shifts will vary and the successful candidate should be comfortable working nights and weekends. The job is based in Washington D.C. although the Examiner currently offers a hybrid in office/at-home schedule.
