Technical Editor

The Technical Editor reports to Austin Johansen, an awesome human, and will be the direct line of communications to our client’s developer community. As part of the team that helps developers worldwide build Android apps, Web apps, and games, you’ll help write and edit a steady stream of content, including technical documentation, blog posts, case studies, and other relevant materials, for a developer-focused environment – and you’ll learn how to measure content engagement and success. What’s more, you’ll grow your technical knowledge and collaboration, influence, and leadership skills through your management of multiple editorial projects for the team. This role is fully remote. As the team you'll be working with is on the East and West Coasts, you'll need to be U.S.-based and able to work core hours that overlap with both time zones. And while travel isn’t required, the team would love to meet you at its offices a few times a year, if you like the idea of getting together IRL (and conditions allow). One more thing You’ll work directly with our client’s team, but you’ll be a Codewordian, with the might of the entire Editorial, Strategy, Account Management, Design, and Insights & Analytics teams at your back.
