Web Content Editor

Wilmington, DE

Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Possible Conversion)

Must go onsite in Wilmington DE 2 days a week. Tues/Thurs

Responsibilities:

Content Management:

· Use Sitecore CMS to create, edit, and publish web pages, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand content requirements and make necessary updates to web pages accordingly.

· Optimize web content for search engine visibility, ensuring appropriate keyword usage and metadata implementation.

· Maintain a consistent content publishing schedule and ensure timely updates.

· Efficiently manage and maintain project Jira board, ensuring tasks, user stories, and timelines are accurately reflected and updated.

· Track progress and milestones, proactively identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or delays in the web content update process.

2. A/B Testing and Optimization:

· Plan, develop, and execute A/B tests to optimize website content, layout, and user flows.

· Analyze A/B test results to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.

· Work closely with the marketing and design teams to implement successful test variations and track performance.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and implement recommended changes based on test results.

3. Website Analytics and Reporting:

· Monitor website performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Sitecore Analytics.

· Generate reports as needed on key performance indicators, such as traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and bounce rates.

· Identify opportunities for website optimization based on data analysis and user behavior.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

· Work with product owners, business lines, and marketing stakeholders to effectively coordinate content and launch of A/B tests, inbound landing page requests, emails, and other digital optimization tactics to further enhance the member digital experience.

· Provide guidance and support to content creators to ensure best practices for website content.

· Monitor and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to web content updates, such as turnaround time, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.

· Continuously evaluate and optimize processes, identifying opportunities for automation or streamlining to enhance productivity and overall efficiency.

· Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to web content editing, CMS, and A/B testing.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, related field or equivalent experience

· Proven experience working as a Web Editor or similar role, with a strong focus on content management and optimization.

· Proficiency in content creation, editing, and publishing.

· Proficiency with content management systems, Sitecore CMS experience

· Experience in planning and conducting A/B tests, analyzing results, and implementing optimization strategies.

· Understanding of web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, and the ability to generate meaningful reports.

· Solid knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to optimize content for search engines.

· Familiarity with Jira and similar project management tools.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

· Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts is a plus.
