Acting Photo Editor WIRED

WIRED is seeking an Acting Photo Editor to join its London-based global art department. This role directly reports to the Director of Photography. The Acting Photo Editor will create day-to-day photo/visual solutions to support the digital and print editorial staff in especially (but not limited to) front-of-book photography for the UK print edition. The Acting Photo Editor will work at the heart of a fast-paced, creative and deadline-driven environment, with editors and writers across multiple time zones to conceive editorial photography and manage shoots from talent selection to production to editing and post-production. The position will also oversee photography for UK and European events and promotions and be an integral part of the team setting the creative direction and use of photography across all WIRED platforms.
