Senior Writer

WIRED needs a dynamic and talented journalist to join our newsroom and cover these threads. We seek prolific writers who are driven to break news and provide contextual analysis to stories, and who are deeply curious about the intersections of tech and culture around the world. This reporter will also help direct WIRED’s coverage of everything culture, from movies and video games to internet trolls and YouTube celebrities. Our work spans all media disciplines, so you must be comfortable on camera, on mic, and on social media. Strong writing skills are required and should be demonstrated through clips that show well-sourced reporting, thoughtful insight into emerging trends, and skill for writing vibrant scenes and characters. This position reports to WIRED’s culture editors.
