Freelance Correspondent

The Times Virginian, a weekly newspaper that covers Appomattox County, is looking for a freelance correspondent to cover local events, feature stories, and town and county meetings. Must have writing experience and be able to take photos to go along with articles. Knowledge of sports for high school sports coverage is a bonus. The selected individual will be paid as an independent contractor on a per story basis for stories submitted and published.
