Regional News Editor

Womack Publishing Co. has an opening for a regional news editor at the News of Orange County location in historic Hillsborough, North Carolina. Responsibilities include reporting, writing news and features, editing copy, and overall management of the paper’s news content. Good layout skills are a must because page design is a big part of this position. Candidate should have experience in InDesign and Adobe Photoshop. Experience and college degree are helpful but not as important as a good work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and be part of the team.
