Women's World Banking

Director of Communications and Marketing
Women’s World Banking seeks an experienced leader for its communications and marketing function to help us reach and influence stakeholder groups critical to our mission to include millions more women in the formal financial system. This is a leadership role within the Advocacy and Influence group, and reports directly to the Global Head of Advocacy, working alongside directors of Research and Advocacy and Policy Advocacy among others to help create an integrated and aligned global advocacy function.

Communications and Marketing function’s purpose is to help the organization reach its target audiences (financial service providers, policymakers, donors) and lead the organization’s thought leadership work on women’s financial inclusion. The director’s role will be to set communications strategy aligned with the organizational and Advocacy function’s goals; manage a team of five (with potential for growth) global marcoms professionals and agency support; partner with other Advocacy functions and broader teams to help Women’s World Banking “show up” in the right places and own important narratives; lead C-suite executive profiling; and manage the daily processes of a busy and in-demand function.
