BylineBuddy is excitedly seeking experienced Writers to join our rapidly growing team. The first SaaS solution that helps CEOs ideate, write, and place contributor bylines in major magazines, newspapers, and trade publications. We identify topics that align with an organization's needs and current news cycles; capture clients' ideas in a seamless, time-efficient way; rapidly develop drafts that reflect their unique messaging and voice; and secure prominent placements that serve the client's objectives. This position would suit a recent J-school graduate with stellar clips, or an experienced writer seeking new opportunities. Either way, the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent writing skills, strong news judgment, and the ability to produce polished, well-argued opinion and thought leadership pieces while working against tight deadlines. Experience covering technology, startups and business is a must, as is an ability to write authoritatively about a wide range of topics. In any given week, our writers may be expected to produce a piece about artificial intelligence, healthcare, workplace diversity, or emerging trends in industries ranging from energy to e-commerce.
