The Wall Street Journal is looking for a reporter to expand our coverage of online shopping, a fierce and fast-growing market. This is a corporate beat focusing on the newest entrants -- as well as the shoppers behind them. The ideal candidate will work closely with our existing retail/ecommerce reporters in New York and San Francisco to mine trends and issues for stories. The reporter will also help with breaking news and retail earnings coverage. The coverage includes startups like StitchFix, Rent the Runway and the RealReal, that are going public as alternatives to traditional apparel chains, as well as the ups and downs of digital brands such as Allbirds, Everlane and Summersalt.
