The Wall Street Journal is looking for an experienced national economics reporter to tell smart, revelatory and engaging stories through various media.

You will have wide latitude to explain emerging trends, the evolution of various sectors and the way economic change affects people’s lives. You will also cover some economic indicator reports. You will work across multiple platforms, including print, digital, video, podcasts and newswires.

You should be steeped in the use of data to support broad analytical features and compelling visuals. You should also be comfortable covering breaking news as well as taking deep dives.

We are looking for someone who has already spent years covering the economy, mastering its ebbs and flows and the way it intersects with the markets.
