The Wall Street Journal is looking for an editor to oversee the strategy of our digital programming and to manage the teams most directly connected to the strategy work tied to content and programming.

The Programming Strategy Editor is a news-oriented job overseeing our strategy and ongoing iteration around our thinking on which user or user segment sees what, when, where and in what shape, on both our own platforms and off platform. This includes the full process from start to finish in large project planning in all mediums and formats, as well as a role in the guidelines for programmatic thinking about our ongoing content posting. You will also have a mandate to create content practice guidelines and templates that lead to higher quality traffic and/or higher engagement. This mandate extends over all digital mediums and formats -- video, audio, digital graphics, photography, text, etc. -- on and off site.
