Job Description
The Features News Editorial Intern for features will support the production of CNBC Asia Pacific’s longest running feature programme, Managing Asia. The successful candidate will learn how to produce a feature news editorial program and be involved in the pre-production and post-production process of Managing Asia, as well as other feature programmes. This role is ideal for university undergraduates aspiring to explore a career in TV news production and journalism. You have keen interests and passion in business, economics, and financial markets. There will also be opportunities to learn about business and markets, as well as the fundamentals of journalism.
Your responsibilities may span the following areas:
Research and identify C-suite profiles for interviews
Assist with planning and preparation for filming
Provide on-site support for on-the-field filming
Transcribe interviews, shot-list suitable footages, source videos and build elements for editing in the post-production process
Share, discuss and/or pitch ideas on digital elements for the show
Qualifications
Students must be able to commit full time for 6 months from January to June 2025.
University undergraduates majoring in business, economics, mass communication and/or media production
Strong interest in business and financial news TV production
Willingness to learn and pro-actively take initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to engage and interact with stakeholders at varying levels
Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks while operating under tight deadlines
Fluency in English language is essential
