Responsibilities
- Manage finance.yahoo.com on Saturdays and Sundays, along with other editor duties on Fridays and Mondays (Note: 4-day work week)
- Saturdays and Sundays: Monitor news flow and make sure that finance.yahoo.com reflects the best version of Yahoo Finance in any given moment
- Fridays and Mondays: Prepare the weekend budget, analyze data, and work with other editors to improve overall performance
- Edit original stories as needed
- Distribute content on social as needed
- Write original content as needed
- Support newsletter and other editorial operations as needed
- Communicate story ideas across the newsroom to coordinate coverage
