This year over 450 guests are expected, with over 100 being retailers interested in doing business in the region. The awards gala will be preceded by a day of discussion panels covering the retail markets. The gala and day forum provide an excellent opportunity to make new contacts and renew existing business relationships in a pleasant and social environment.

Retailers, real estate companies, projects and individuals will be presented with awards of acknowledgment, by the industry, for their contribution to the development of the retail commercial real estate market in the region for 2017. Nominations can be made online at no cost. Our independent jury will vote on all the nominations to come up with a short list that will be announced at the beginning of January. The finalists will be voted on the night before the gala at a jury dinner held at the InterContinental.

Countries covered in the awards include: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, Austria, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Furthermore, with local and international media organizations present, The EuropaProperty CEE Retail Real Estate Awards will also act as a means of publicizing the retail sector throughout the region.

As with all EuropaProperty events the CEE Retail Real Estate Awards will pride itself on an unrivalled format that brings together top professionals in an environment conducive to offering the opportunity to meet and network with leading market players.

Retailer nomination criteria A retailer should be active in at least one of the CEE markets in 2017. Retailers can be nominated for innovation, expansion, contribution to the market, market share, concept and design, commercial success.

Project nomination criteria Nominations should be made on the basis of quality of design, quality of construction materials and the construction processes in relation to costs, environmental concerns, accessibility and location, with further consideration being given to the commercial success and durability of the project. At least one phase of the project must have been completed in 2017. Individuals or companies can nominate their own projects or projects they have been associated with. Each award will be presented to the developer with the overall responsibility for a project.
