There finally seems to be some light at the end of the 2022 tunnel with markets opening up and the psychological fears of COVID waning. However, a lot remains to be seen especially with the impact of the war in Ukraine and what this will bring to the world, and to the insurance industry.

2021 was the litmus test year of endurance! With 2022, we do see a refreshing shift. Despite it all, the insurance industry stood rock solid, grounded and unstoppable!

We at Asia Insurance Review are looking forward in anticipation to the 26th year of honouring the industry and saluting the huge milestones achieved. We are excited to see what the nominations bring and would like to thank the prestigious panel of judges for their years of support and commitment to this cause. We have striven to maintain the professionalism of the awards throughout the quarter of a decade since they were launched. The AIIA trophy is still the most coveted today due to the clearly defined criteria and transparent auditing process.

Asia has shown its fighting spirit and mettle and we are now ready to raise the bar, so we look forward to seeing a huge influx of entries from strong contenders this year. Your entries show how you have stood out during the qualifying period so use this as the opportunity to show your outstanding achievements. Normal, and even excellent are no longer enough! Send in your nominations either as self-nominations or via a third-party. Both carry equal weight. So make sure you put your hat in the ring.
