Recognize individuals and organizations that play a key role in facilitating the recruitment, retention, and promotion of diverse PR practitioners. They similarly support and inspire professionals of diverse backgrounds, as well as those who strive to encourage and strengthen diversity and inclusion across the PR workforce.

For 2019, efforts continue to present award categories that encourage more participation by organizations of all types and sizes. In addition, Honorable Mentions are being awarded in all categories where judges determine there are entries worthy of such a distinction.

In an effort to further highlight the tangible benefits of a diverse and inclusive staff, the PR Council and PRWeek recently introduced two new categories – one that celebrates extraordinary campaigns executed by diverse and inclusive teams, the other that honors young PR professionals of diverse backgrounds who are excelling for their organizations. Both return for 2019.
