The Tampa Bay Business Journal and Bank OZK are proud to present Best Real Estate Deals, an awards program recognizing Tampa Bay’s most prominent real estate deals and developments closed over the past year that will transform the local economic landscape for decades to come.

• Eligibility Requirements:
- We are looking for standout projects for Tampa Bay Business Journal's Best Real Estate Deals awards.
- Nominations are welcome from all sources, and companies/projects are eligible for nomination in more than one category, however a nominee can only be chosen as an honoree in one category.

• BRED CATEGORIES:
- Dealmaker of the Year: This category recognizes a person who has been at the forefront of some of Tampa Bay's biggest deals between June 2021 - June 2022. This category is limited to brokers, real estate agents or someone else who has put together numerous significant deals.
- Developer of the Year: Open to commercial developers based in Tampa Bay. Nominee will be asked to give specific examples of how they achieved significant success in the region or ramped up activity. Nominees will be judged on innovation, accomplishment, economic impact, and benefit to the community. Provide information on projects between June 2021 - June 2022.
- Deal of the Year: This could be a sale, lease or newly announced residential or commercial project of any kind (key factors include impact on Tampa Bay's economy, unique challenges overcome, total transaction value, square footage, jobs created and other quantifiable aspects of the deal).
- Top Office Deal: Includes new leases signed, sales closed, or construction started.
- Top Industrial Deal: Includes new leases signed, sales closed, or construction started.
- Top Multi-Family Deal: Includes new leases signed, sales closed, construction started.
- Affordable Housing Deal: Includes new leases signed, sales closed, or construction started.
- Top Retail Deal: Includes new leases signed, sales closed, or construction started.
- Top Land Deal: Includes new leases signed, sales closed.
- Top Reuse/Rehab: Best use of an existing residential multifamily or commercial building.
- Top Entertainment Project: Including theme parks, restaurants, entertainment venues or other local attractions. Open to new construction and projects making use of existing structures.
- Top Hospitality Project: Projects including hotels, vacation club or timeshare properties. Open to new construction and projects making use of existing structures.
