In light of ongoing public health restrictions related to COVID-19, Efficiency Nova Scotia has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Bright Business Conference and Awards.
We recognize the Conference and Awards is an important event for the industry and that many will be disappointed by this news. Given the uncertainty about public health restrictions for public gatherings, we believe the best decision is to exercise an abundance of caution and cancel an event that brings together over 300 people from around the world.
The 2020 Bright Business Awards will also be postponed to fall 2021. Any nominations received so far will be kept until the judging process starts closer to the 2021 event. Nominations will also continue to be accepted throughout the rest of the year, with the judging and awarding process to be held in the summer and fall of 2021.
We thank you for your continued support of the Bright Business Conference and Awards, and we look forward to celebrating Nova Scotia’s energy efficiency industry with you in 2021.
Award recipients are industry leaders who inspire others to think and act differently and help distinguish Nova Scotia as a Canadian leader in energy efficiency. The Bright Business Awards rely upon nominations to help us recognize the deserving recipients. Anyone can apply or nominate another deserving business, community group or person for any of the award categories.
