Help us recognize the companies who are doing good works to make Central Ohio a better place.

Columbus is a generous community.

We volunteer our time, money and expertise to hundreds of nonprofit organizations working to improve the community and the lives of people across Central Ohio.

We hear the stories from companies big and small, of the time their employees donate during work hours and the fundraising drives that contribute much-needed cash to deserving organizations.

Obviously, some companies do more than others, including some smaller firms that contribute beyond expectations for their size.

We want to help shine a light on those corporate citizens.

Our Corporate Citizenship survey is part of a larger initiative to celebrate companies who are doing good works to make Central Ohio a better place.

The centerpiece of this initiative is the survey to quantify the time and money that companies and their employees are donating to Central Ohio nonprofits. Research Director Robin Smith, who compiles our weekly Top 25 Lists, will be sending out surveys to companies in our database to get a clearer picture of philanthropic activity by the local corporate community.

Awards Categories:
We will honor the most generous companies in four size categories based on the amount of money they donated to Central Ohio nonprofit organizations:

• Medium - 50 to 99 employees
• Large - 100 to 249 employees
• Extra Large - 250 or more employees

Vanguard Awards - In addition, we will recognize four companies promoting innovation in philanthrophy.
