This year has tested HR like no other. The profession has had to be quick-thinking yet mindful, ruthless yet sympathetic and organised yet malleable. But among the chaos has been plenty of valuable lessons, and despite the challenges, there is lots to celebrate.
There was no way that HR magazine would let the hard work, determination and passion of the people profession in 2020 go unnoticed. That’s why we have switched this year’s HR Excellence Awards to become a virtual event, to ensure it remains compatible with the evolving government restrictions. Still taking place on Tuesday 26 January 2021, the event will now take place virtually but will still be filled with incredible entrants, inspiring people and a few surprises thrown in.
It will be a real shame not to see all of your lovely faces in the flesh, but safety must come first. So, dust off your finest clothes and get ready for a night of glamour, glitz and celebration- all without having to worry about getting a taxi home.
