Fire is a premier awards showcase, recognizing, spotlighting and celebrating the companies, startups, organizations, executives, entrepreneurs and stakeholders that have had a banner year within the local ecosystem.

In 2022, KY Inno will recognize companies and/or organizations who have been fantastic innovators in their local communities across Kentucky and in Southern Indiana with the inaugural Fire Awards.

After reviewing inbound nominations, the Inno team and Louisville Business First staff will select the honorees, grouped into categories. Later, one winner per category will selected by judges, and crowned the “Blazer Winner.”

Honorees will be featured in a fall issue of LBF and online.

Some things we look for in selecting the Fire Award honorees are: new funding, adding headcount, social and community impact, product launches, company pivots, company growth, and amazing stories of innovators reshaping the ecosystem.

Fire honorees can include later-stage tech pillars, growth-stage startups, accelerators, venture firms, meetup groups, non-profits, etc.
