The LABC Building Excellence Awards in 2024 are a three stage process beginning with nominations made in each of our 12 regions. These entries will be judged regionally with winners then being judged for the national awards.

4. Best individual new home
5. Best new housing development (split into small, medium and high volume depending on the number of units)
6. Best social housing development (split into small and large volume depending on the number of units)
7. Best purpose built accommodation (e.g. student accommodation or a care home)
8. Best non-residential extension, alteration, or conversion
9. Best non-residential new build
10. Best public or community building

People categories
1. Best residential and small commercial designer
2. Best residential and small commercial builder
3. LABC site manager of the year
4. Construction specialist of the year
5. Public service superstar
6. Local authority building control newcomer of the year
7. Best partnership with a local authority building control team
