The Westpac Champion Business Awards recognise and celebrate the local businesses that make Waitaha Canterbury one of the leading regions for business.
These Awards are all about celebrating the success of our local businesses and business people – however you define success. Whether it’s growing your company, taking pride in your team culture, or innovating to make the most of a new market opportunity, we want to shine the spotlight on those who have made an outstanding impact in their particular sector and celebrate our business champions who contribute to the strong quality of life the people in Canterbury enjoy.
Established in 2003, the Westpac Champion Business Awards are now one of the largest business awards of its kind in New Zealand.
• 14 Award categories, covering a range of business sizes and focus, and various stages of growth.
• Free to enter and open to individuals and organisations of all sizes and from any industry sector, including the not-for-profit sector.
• The awards region is defined by the Canterbury Regional Council boundaries.
• Business can be nominated or can enter themselves.
• The Awards programme culminates in a ceremony at the Christchurch Arena on Wednesday 3 November.
