While the Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Accounting (IPA) Conference is more of an academic event compared to some entries on this list, it may prove an excellent source of inspiration for practitioners.
This accounting event is a well-established forum for research into the social, political and organisational aspects of accounting theory and practice. It brings accounting closer to other disciplines including anthropology, history, philosophy, sociology and political economy.
