After an incredible event in 2022, the ICIS Middle Eastern Base Oils and Lubricants Conference will return to host its 18th event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
With anticipated attendee numbers of over 400, the conference will provide the chance to meet old friends, hear from leading industry experts and make new business connections. A globally attended event with a Middle Eastern focus, there were 34 nationalities in attendance in 2022, offering an international networking opportunity.
Saudi Arabia is one of the largest markets for base oils globally and is increasingly being seen as the leading host country in the Middle East/GCC region for international conferences. Holding 15% of the world’s proven oil reserves it is the largest exporter of crude oil in the world. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also has the largest crude oil production capacity at nearly 12 million barrels per day – making it a key player in the Middle Eastern base oils market. With the growth of the Saudi market, the hub of local oil players and feedback from past attendees, it offers an ideal location for the event.
