With Expo2020 right around the corner, Dubai has budgeted $2.5bn for infrastructure spends in the year 2019. Under the patronage of the Ministry of Infrastructure Development the 6th Annual Arab Future Cities Summit 2019 will be held on 16 and 17 September 2019 in Dubai. This upcoming edition of the conference will analyze the rapid development this region has seen in order to evolve into one of the leading smart cities in the world. Smart cities channel urban development with its citizens at the heart of it, and the Emirate of Dubai has been leading the way in its various smart city developments and plans.

Digital technology is disrupting every sector giving rise to seamless connectivity and smarter solutions that enable the growth of smart cities. This summit will be an innovative platform in promoting strategies for sustainable development that are in sync with the latest smart technology implementation.
