During the 9th Annual AfPI Leaders Roundtable, High-Level representatives from AFI member institutions in Africa will:
• Examine the regulatory approaches that have been taken or can be taken by policy makers in Africa to ensure that women, youth and MSMEs continue to have access to financial services even with the challenges posed by COVID-19.
• Discuss insights from the case studies conducted by AFI and the African Development Bank (AfDB) to showcase progress made in advancing women’s financial inclusion and reducing the gender financial inclusion gap in some African countries.
• Discuss strategic opportunities arising from the COVID-19 pandemic for financial inclusion policy making.
